DESCRIPTION:This is a two nights overnighter on Östgötaleden leading us through the beautiful Kolmården area. The distance will be about 60km in total. There’s a train leaving Stockholm C at 9:42 (train 227) and arrives 11:09 at Kolmården. On Sunday there’s a bus back from Rejmyre at 11:51. \n\nBring enough food for all three days. Also best if you had a hammock\, we will not stay at any proper camp sites near any shelter or fireplace most likely and will have to deal with whatever we find (it‘s part of the experience).\n\nThis is an intermediate level hike\, you should have some outdoor experience\, have proper gear and know how to use it. You should be able to do a good 25 km a day. \n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Join us on our annual\, traditional\, epic and glorious Easter Hike! This year Easter is very soon into the year and so we had to think a bit harder. We want spring\, not snow and ice. So the idea was to stay close. And why not just continue what we started last year? We’ll visit four islands out on our beautiful archipelago and hope for mild conditions. 4 days\, 4 islands.\n\nBring camping gear\, warm clothes\, food and water! (You don’t need water for four days\, but to bring at least 2L is a good idea\, since access to water out on the archipelago can be tricky).\n\nRight now the new schedule for the ferries isn’t out yet\, that’s why we do any detailed planning yet. DESCRIPTION:Let’s go on a ski tour again in week 13! You need backcountry skis\, maybe a pulka\, a four-season tent and a winter sleeping bag etc. etc. Will stay close to huts and shelters but don’t rely on them.\n\nIdea is to follow Södra Kungsleden this time\, starting from Sälen/Hundfjällshotellet and take us to Fulufjället.\n\nIt‘s about 80km in total and we plan on doing no more than about 15km a day. DESCRIPTION:I Would Like\, If I May\, To Take You On A Strange Journey. \n\nWe take bus 839 towards Smådalarö from Handen station at 14:00\, get off at stop Sandemar and walk about 8km to where There's A Light Over At The Frankenstein Place. So why don‘t you just Stay for the Night? Next morning we follow trails Frank N. Further through Tyresta to Nyfors bus stop (~14km). Don’t Dream It\, Be It and bring\n\n- A warm sleeping bag and sleeping pad (or a hammock)\n\n\n- A tent or tarp\n\n\n- Enough food to get  you through the night\n\n\n- Warm clothes\, gloves and a hat highly recommended\n\n\n- There might be some significant rain\, be prepared\n\n\nSo Come Up To The Lab And See What's On The Slab. DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION: We will be hiking the beautiful part of Stockholm Archipelago Trail and camp on the beach\, we will hike around 12 to 15 km. We need to take a boat from Nynäshamn to Ålö. The boat is secheduled at 13:20\, try to be here atleast 10 min earlier. We will start hiking from Ålö boat stop for around 5 km to 6 km to Storsand beach\, and we will camp there around the fireplace. On Sunday\, we will hike for around another 6 km to 7 km on the other side of the island and reach the Ålö boat stop . My plan is to finish the hike by around 15:00 on Sunday. We start at the very south and take a ferry from Nynäshamn to the island of Öja/Landsort where we will spend a night and go back to Stockholm the next day.\n\nWe meet at SL commuter train station Nynäsgård and take bus 852 towards Torö at 13:24 to Ankarudden and then the ferry 29 to Landsort at 14:05. The next day we will take the ferry back at 13:25. Bring enough food for a whole day\, even though there‘d be a restaurant etc just in case. It‘s a 3km walk to get there. DESCRIPTION:Let‘s celebrate spring together (forecast looks promising!) with a short hike and a picnic/bbq! We meet at bus stop Ekstubben in Älta and follow trails into Nackareservatet until we reach Hellasgården (~8km). We‘ll try to find a cozy spot to have lunch together and then you either take a bus back home or you follow me back on some other route to Älta.\n\nBring something comfy to sit on (maybe a blanket)\, food\, water and drinks and maybe a small grill if you have (I‘ll bring mine\, but it‘s very small and will just be enough for me\, my bf and maybe one more person).\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Join me on a four day (three nights) hike on Bergslagsleden (ish). We continue from Karlskoga (Immertorp trafikplats) and take us into Angsjö nature reserve. From there we continue south-west\, crossing several other nature reserves until we join Bergslagsleden\, that we follow until Laxå for the rest of the tour. That‘s sections 12 to 14 of Bergslagsleden.\n\nThis is an intermediate level event\, you should have some experience backpacking including overnighters\, you should be comfortable carrying your backpack about 20km a day (~7 hours of walking) . You will need equipment for early spring conditions which might very well include freezing temperatures during the night. Good shoes\, warm clothes\, rain gear and decent\, reliable equipment are a must (warm sleeping bag AND warm sleeping pad). If you are unsure\, don’t hesitate to ask\, either here in the comments or by sending me a message.\n\nBring food for four days\, i.e. 3 times dinner\, 3 times breakfast and 4 times lunch and snacks. We’ll hope to find water on the way\, there are many springs and dwells. If you want to take water from lakes I’d recommend to bring a filter just in case.\n\nMost nights we’ll try to spend close to one of the many shelters but please bring a tent or tarp nonetheless. Consider sharing tents so we don’t take up too much space. Same applies to kitchen or other equipment to save weight. The less you carry the more you’ll be able to enjoy!\n\nWe’ll take the train 167 from Stockholm C Thursday morning at 9:14 to Örebro and continue to Immetorp norra by Bus 500 at 11:40.\n\nThere’s a good train connection back from Laxå every hour on Sunday\, May 4th\, that takes about 2.5 hours. DESCRIPTION:It‘s a dear tradition to use the Easter weekend for an extended hike. Four days\, three nights out on beautiful Sörmlandsleden. From Nyköping to Kolmården. We take train 227 (Mälartåg) from Stockholm C on Friday 9:44 to Nyköping and then bus 561 to Buskhyttan where we‘ll start our hike. On the second day we‘ll pass through Nävekvarn where they have a supermarket. This way you don‘t need to carry too much food if you don‘t want to. On Monday we‘ll take the train back from Kolmården station\, there‘s a train every two hours.\n\nBe sure to bring warm enough clothes and good shoes of course. You will need a sleeping bag\, a sleeping pad and some sort of a shelter\, a tarp or a tent. We plan on camping nearby shelters but we can‘t rely on them not being taken. Also\, plans can change. You will need food for four days\, but as mentioned there‘s a possibility for a supermarket on the second day. Depending on what you eat\, you might need a stove and a pot. Consider sharing gear\, especially tents with other participants. It saves weight and camping spots. Sharing a kitchen is also a good way to save weight and bulk in your backpack.\n\nThis is a intermediate level hike\, you should be able to do about 20-25km each day considering all your gear. It features agriculture and a lively local economy\, including a boatyard\, guest harbor\, bakery\, farm\, and grocery store\, though most will be closed during our off-season visit.\n\nThe distance will be about 10 kilometers at a slightly faster pace and we may encounter some challenging spots.\n\nCan I come if I'm not on the list? The boat will reach Norra Ingmarsö at 11:20.\n\nGetting back We'll leave Norra Ingmarsö at 15:15 on the Waxholmsbolaget boat\, arriving at Åsättra brygga at 15:55.
